• April First Friday: Spring into Wellness (April 3, 6-9 PM): Downtown Delaware hosts road closures, wellness education, and entertainment featuring local health partners.
• Workday on The Farm (April 4, 9 AM): Located at The Farm at Harvest Hills.
• Spring Fling at Delaware County Fairgrounds (April 4-6): Features amusement rides, fair food, a touch-a-truck event (Apr 5), and a craft/vendor show.
• Advocacy Roundtable on Voting Rights (April 3, 8:30 AM): Held at the Byxbe Building, hosted by DCBDD and the Board of Elections.
• History Hunters & Specialized Programs (April 11, 10 AM): Various sessions hosted by the Delaware County Historical Society, including “Wrong Place, Wrong Time” with Brent Carson on April 22.
• Stockhands Read with the Horses (April 11, 1 PM): Interactive event at Stockhands.
• Botanical Drawing Make N Take (April 17, time varies): Community arts event at the Chamber.
• Main Street Delaware Spring Clean Up (April 25, 10 AM – Noon): Community volunteer event to tidy up downtown.
• Plain White T’s Live@OWU (April 28, 7:30 PM): Concert at Ohio Wesleyan University.
• 2026 Night at the Races (April 30, 6 PM): Evening event at the fairgrounds 

• Fair Housing Training for Landlords (April 9): Workshop at 74 W William St.
• Home Buyer Workshop (April 11, 11 AM).
• Conflict Management & Project Management Training (April 24): Professional development courses in Delaware.

Memorial Day-

• City of Delaware Ceremony (May 25): The annual Memorial Day service at Oak Grove Cemetery (334 S. Sandusky St.) begins at 10 a.m. in Soldiers Circle. It typically includes a Civil War-era cannon volley, high school JROTC participation, and local veteran group involvement.
• Powell Memorial Day Parade (May 25): The city of Powell hosts its parade on Memorial Day, starting at 10 a.m. downtown. A memorial ceremony follows at the Greater Powell Veterans Memorial, located behind the Municipal Building at 47 Hall St.
• Field of Heroes (Westerville, near Delaware County): A visual display of over 3,000 flags at the Westerville Sports Complex, honoring veterans and fallen heroes. The display is typically open from Friday to Monday.
• Sunbury Memorial Day Market (May 25): A long-running annual market at Sunbury Town Square on Memorial Day, which supports local student music programs. 
   

• Alum Creek State Park Activities: Campground activities are scheduled over the weekend, organized by the Volunteer Association.
• National Veterans Memorial and Museum (Columbus): Hosts a remembrance ceremony on May 25 to honor the fallen

June: 2026 

• Powell Festival (June 20-21): Held at Village Green Park, featuring live entertainment, food, and fireworks, according to co.delaware.oh.us.
• ResiFest (June 22, 2025): A celebration of music and mental health at Boardman Arts Park (2–7 p.m.), notes Boardman Arts Park.
• Delaware Pride Festival (June 6): Hosted by Delaware Ohio Pride at Boardman Arts Park, according to the Boardman Arts Park.
• Foodees Food & Culture Festival (June): A large food truck event at Tanger Columbus, says Destination Delaware County Ohio. 

• Delaware Music Series (June 7 & 14): Live local bands performing in the park, hosted by Boardman Arts Park.
• GoYoga @ the Park (First Sundays): Weekly yoga sessions starting in June, according to the Boardman Arts Park. 

• Perkins Observatory: Offers daytime and evening public programs in June, including night sky observations, says Columbus on the Cheap.
• Boardman Arts Park Events: Offers yoga, music, and special performances throughout the month, notes the Boardman Arts Park.
• Delaware County Historical Society: Tours and museum visits at the Meeker Homestead and Nash House, says Columbus on the Cheap.
• Mingo Park & Jack Florence Pool: Swimming and outdoor recreation, according to Columbus on the Cheap.

July: 2026 

• Independence Day Parade (11 a.m.): Starts at Delaware County Fairgrounds, moves through downtown.
• Orange Twp 4th of July Parade (July 4th)
• Central Ohio Symphony Concert (7:30 p.m.): Outdoors on the Ohio Wesleyan University campus.
• Fireworks Finale (10 p.m.): Launched from Cherry Street, with viewing at Henry Street and OWU fields.
• Foodees Food & Culture Festival: July 4-6 at Tanger Columbus, featuring 40+ food trucks. 
   

• Taste of Powell (July 13): A crawl-style event featuring local restaurant samples.
• Boardman Arts Park Events: Includes a Beatles tribute concert (July 19) and the Delaware Music Festival (July 26).
• LIVE @ Polaris Summerfest (July 26): Featuring food trucks, local music, and family activities.
   

• Master Gardener Plant Sale: July 20-21 at the Delaware County Fairgrounds.
• GoYoga @ the Park: Held at Boardman Arts Park on the first Sunday of the month.
• Preservation Parks Events: Various nature programs, group hikes, and kids’ events at Hogback Ridge Park.

August: 2026 

• Tanger Back to School Bash (Aug 8): Free kids’ event at Tanger Columbus.
• Sunbury Sizzle & Sounds (Aug 16): Live music, food, and activities in Sunbury Town Square.
• Boardman Arts Park Events: Features “Symphony @ Whimsy” (Aug 8) and “Arena Fair Theatre @ Whimsy” (Aug 22).
• Columbus Zoo & Aquarium: Lantern Festival (through Oct) and Water Park After Dark (Aug 21).
• Main Street Delaware Farmers’ Market: Weekly Saturday market (Aug 22).
• Preservation Parks: Ongoing nature programs, including summer exhibits and group hikes.
• Dick’s House of Sport (Polaris): Rock wall climbing and golf simulator events.
